have a try #1 - Pita with salmon and mozzarella
at the moment i haven't got the time to cook all those yummy recipes i stumble upon here, here and on the blogs in my blogroll. therefore i introduced a new tag to my delicious tagcloud called 'haveatry'. it means something like: 'oha, this recipe sounds great/interesting/funny. lets try it out .... someday'. last tuesday i used one of those recipes-to-try-out for our 'büroküche', and it was ... ähm ... well ... delicious ;). have a look:

the original is from the browneyed baker and is called Homemade Pita Bread . i only had to halve the portion as mr. g is on holiday at the moment and had to do lots of math to translate cups to grammes.
Pita Bread (for 2 persons):
180 g spelt flour (i needed 3 more tablespoons)
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon honey
1/2 packet dry yast
180 ml tepid water (more or less)
1 tablesppoon oil (i used my rosmary oil)
just bake the pita as perfectly described at the brownedey baker. i sliced the pitas directly after they were finished. at the office i only had to add some baked salmon, some mozzarella and a sauce made of youghurt, garlic and chives, place the pita in the microwave for 3 minutes and make some green salad while waiting.

needles to say, that i immedeatly changed the delicious-tags to 'yummy' and 'once again' ;).
